We had a catastrophic flood in our basement requiring a complete rebuild. Anew Day handled all of the construction from start to finish. They were very helpful in dealing with our insurance company and getting us a settlement allowing everything to be rebuilt at the level of quality it was prior to the flood. We did have some issues throughout the project with their sub contractors which is the reason for the 4 star rating. I believe the issues were a result of an original project manager leaving mid job causing a bumpy transition. The owner Jerry and the new pm Marc made it a point to correct all issues…and the final result in our basement would rate a 5 star review. We are very pleased with the basement once everything was complete.

Original review: Three rooms of my house were significantly damaged with flooding- a bathroom, closet, and entryway. A New Day Construction came highly recommended by my plumber. From the start, they were quick to begin remediation, have my belongings packed away and cleaned, and reconstructed my bathroom so well that it’s better than it was before. While there were a few standard delays, Mark and his team consistently communicated with me during the process. Updated review: There was a discrepancy with the insurance payout, which I did my best to resolve. Despite my efforts, Jerry Martin, Owner of A New Day Construction, repeatedly sent me text messages, voice messages, phone calls, and emails attempting to collect a debt owed by the insurance company. Although A New Day Construction promised to “ provide rebuttals, and negotiate with insurers to reach fair settlements”, I have been asked to be the one to make all the calls and negotiations. At one point, I was in the emergency room and told him I couldn’t talk or answer texts and still received repeated calls about the final bill. (Additionally, the caulk around my brand new bath keeps coming off, and the tub is now leaking at the base. It makes me question the quality of the work as well.) I have attempted repeatedly to resolve the billing issues with calls to the insurer and by authorizing them to negotiate directly with them. Instead of doing so, I’ve been threatened with an attorney and a lien on my home for failure to pay despite the insurance company paying them and my efforts to resolve any discrepancy. Mark was professional and friendly throughout, as was Karen, but the response from the owner was frankly appalling. I understand my obligations. I also understand that the damage was fully covered by my insurance. Despite being assured that they would help navigate the insurance process, that was not the case. I find it concerning how many times I’ve been threatened with collections, legal action, and a lien on my home. This time would have better been spent in conversation with the insurance company to determine the small discrepancy remaining. That would have been the decent thing to do and far more productive than repeated threats against a single mother who has been more than accommodating during this process. I was happy with the work of Mark and his team (with the exception of the recent leak), but I am not happy with a company that treats clients with this level of disregard over an insurance discrepancy outside of my control.

My wife and I are so happy with our new deck. We had our existing deck replaced and also had an extension added. The entire process from the initial estimate through the build and cleanup was performed as promised. Randy and his team masterfully built our deck - they truly went above and beyond what I had expected. Randy's attention to detail is phenomenal as well as being someone I felt very comfortable conversing with on a daily basis. Philip, our project manager, was also awesome to work with. He kept things going as planned even when we encountered some surprises with our pool wall. Phillip, always took the time to ensure I was happy through every step of the process. I would highly recommend A New Day Construction and their team if anyone is looking for a trustworthy company to do the job correctly the first time around. You will not be disappointed.

My mother came to live with us after she broke her hip. We had been wanting to remodel the bathroom and front of the house so she could have an easier time to get around. After talking with Justin from A New Day, we decided to go ahead with our plans. From the start of this project, it has been a journey to formulate exactly how to proceed to make this the best it could be to work for her. Mother came up with how she wanted the shower and my husband the front porch. Mother also wanted a screened in back porch and stairs to the ground. Everyone that helped us to make this work were terrific! From Miss Tyler, to our project manager Monte, who both were always prompt and willing to listen to any concerns or thoughts that came up. The extremely talented interior design specialist Miss Jamie to our wondaful tile guy Francisco. All of the behind-the-scenes individuals that helped along the way. The deck and porch crew were unbelievable, they worked very fast and both projects are so worth it, we love them! I cannot say enough what a blessing it was to my family to have A New Day Construccion do this project with us. Many friendships came from this project as work was being done. In addition, everyone was understanding and gracious to our goldens. We will forever be grateful to have found these special Christian individuals who completed our projects with care and professionalism. I am honored to give a full 100% recommendation for the whole team that make up A New Day Construction!
